"We gave Welwyn the challenge of designing, and overseeing the construction of, a Northern Ontario summer retreat for our Ottawa home. The backyard project included an in-ground pool, large rocks, stone decking, stairs, lighting and landscaping. We wanted the project to look as if Nature had developed it, and the house had been built later.

The project required multiple contractors and several months of work, with a number of unexpected hurdles that accompany any project of this size. The result exceeds our expectations in every respect – its unique features create a peaceful, beautiful oasis that fits both individual and large entertainment needs (including those of our family dogs).
